Epithalon (also epitalon or AEDG peptide) is a synthetic tetrapeptide derived from epithalamin, a peptide extract of the pineal gland. It has been studied mainly for telomerase activation and telomere elongation in cell and animal models, along with effects on melatonin secretion and circadian regulation. Most of the published research originates from Russian research groups, and independent replication is limited.
